There are a few things to take care of while making ice cream at home, avoid these 5 blunders to get the perfect scoop of taste and health in your bowl- 1) LOW-FAT MILK Ice cream as its name suggests is reliant on the creaminess of the milk. It’s what gives ice cream its rich flavor and smooth, creamy texture. Low-fat milk contains less solid fat and hence less cream. Substitutes like low-fat or skim milk do not freeze well, seriously lack flavor, and leave ice cream void of its creaminess leaving it with an icy texture. 2) WHIPPED CREAM Adding extra cream with milk may make the ice cream very delicious but adding whipped cream instead of normal cream may work against the purpose.
